Our task is to develop an efficient and sustainable transport system from a perspective that encompasses all modes of transport.

We work with long-term infrastructure planning in close dialogue with regions and municipalities.

New check-in facilities, access road as well as successive development of the new intermodal terminal are planned, too.

The port’s strategy, called “Vision 2010-2015”, intends also to move ferry berths away from the inner port, so that grounds near the sea can be turned into attractive building plots.

In 2014 Port of Trelleborg handled almost 625 thousand cargo units.

The cargo flow at the port is attracted by the new intermodal hub with connections to and from Northern Sweden and Norway.

Together, we can make life easier for the whole of Sweden.

Tasks The Swedish transport administration is responsible for the long-term planning of the transport system for road, rail, shipping and aviation.

CLOSER runs three working groups within each of the themes where pre-studies and demonstration projects are being formed and set up according to the partners´needs.
